Ruidoso Weekend.

To celebrate Josh's birthday we decided to head to Ruidoso to check out all this little mountain town had to offer. We were surprised at what a cute unique little town it was. It is only about a 3 hr drive away but worth every minute of it. We did not have long enough to explore this town but we will definitely come back. The mountains were breathtaking. It lies in the Sierra Blanca mountain ranges of south central New Mexico and merges to the Sacramento mountains to the south. When we arrived we decided to drive to the Monjeau lookout. The roads up were a little rough, bumpy and rocky but this incredible view was waiting for us when we arrived. The Elevation here is 9600 ft. What a view!!!

Daddy, Evan and Nana, enjoying the view.

Daddy, Evan and Momma!!! The smell of the pine trees was amazing. I just wanted to breath it in forever, so much better then the smell of Clovis cow poop.

The weather was so great we decided to hike the Ruidoso River Trail in Two Rivers Park. There were a bunch of kids swimming but Evan decided to pass on that one.

Evan takes a ride on the Little Horse!!!

He loved it!!!!!

Enjoying his spiderman ice cream!!! You cannot get that in Clovis so he was pretty excited.

We decided to take another hike around Bonito Lake. So pretty here. We will come back and camp next time.

The morning before we left to go home we hiked the Lincoln State Park trail. Again, the smell of the air was so fresh!!!

Our Family!!!

Such a cute little town and not enough time to explore everything. They have really cute little Midtown shopping district with alot of cute, unique shops which mommy got to explore. One amazing shop was called The Olive Oil shop, if you are there check it out. It is full of different flavors of Olive oil and Balsamic vinegar . You can taste test them all. I bought the blueberry balsamic vinegar and it was to die for!!!!!
